INFO:
Today’s dish, Isi Ewu, holds extra meaning for me and my family. This isn’t just any goat – this was one of the goats we raised ourselves. Unfortunately, it died in a tragic accident, which was a sad moment for all of us. 😔 As homesteaders, we develop a strong bond with the animals we care for, and losing one is never easy. Cooking a goat head may sound extreme to some, but when you’ve put in the care to raise these animals, you realize that every part has its value. From the brain to the bones, nothing is wasted, and everything comes together in a meal that honours the life of the animal.
